Wayne stops the Legends Show on Carnival Cruise Ship Victory!

 

After auditioning before the crowded Ionian Lounge, Wayne was chosen to close the mainstage production in the ship's theatre with Frank Sinatra's anthem:  MY WAY 

 

 

A standing ovation made the evening even more special.

In a career spanning more than two decades, he has had the opportunity to portray many great characters from the American musical theatre, including the following:

 

Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady

Georges in La Cage Aux Folles

Julian Marsh in 42nd  Street

Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls

Juan Peron in Evita

Billy Flynn in Chicago

Ravenal in Showboat

Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun

Warbucks in Annie

     and

Mack Sennett in Jerry Herman's Mack and Mabel 

 

He's been a featured vocalist at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, The Williamson Theatre,

The Concert Hall at The College of Staten Island, Veterans Memorial Hall and

The Music Hall at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.

 

On non-musical stages he has had leading roles in Inherit The Wind, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Sideman, Art, Mr. Roberts and All My Sons.

 

On the small screen he has had principle roles on the daytime drama The Guiding Light.

 

He produced and co-designed the New York Premier of The Blue Angel, a musical noir,

a stage musical based on the classic Marlene Dietrich film.

 

He is listed in Who's Who in American Entertainment and Who's Who in America.

 

He lives in New York with his wife, Donna D'Ermilio, a pianist, conductor and arranger. They appear together in cabaret and in performances of A. R. Gurney's Love Letters.
